About Easy For Animals

The average time someone spends reading a webpage is 50 seconds. And, animal welfare charities represent 1.2% of all charities, have a volunteer base of 1.6%, and receive 0.3% of total donations.

Most people just do not have time to read the long animal advocacy group webpages or to spend too much of their year acting on animal issues when they also need to be concerned about their family, friends, colleagues, community, neighborhood, and whatever social justice or environmental issue is popular this minute.

For those who do take the time, they are met with a demand for their concern which outstrips their capacity. When they are engaged and have traversed the endless digital information, they are simply asked to ‘go vegan’ or ‘write to your MP’.

We don’t believe that people don’t care about animals, even if they eat them. We believe that people have become overwhelmed with information that they simply don’t have the resources to engage in the way they would like to and react by ignoring or opposing them. Even being involved and employed in animal advocacy I find the demand for my attention overwhelming.

So, I have tried as best as I can to simplify the issues I know and care about, find actual real-world achievable solutions, and to act directly on behalf of animals in my own capacity without needlessly asking for ineffective actions which only serve to direct outrage without actual result.

We are rational.

We are practical.

We are self-critical (and enjoy when you are critical of us too).

We will attempt to be effective and efficient.

We appreciate everything that you already do for animals, but if you would like to do more, we’d like to think you have come to the right place.
